Time to juice those apples…

In case you didn’t know the Ashurst & Colbury Community Group has three apple presses that are available for anyone to borrow.

The kits vary in size and come with a scratter (to crush the apples) so turning your crop into juice/cider is a breeze!

The big press and scratter…5 litres of juice from a big bucket of apples

Residents of Ashurst & Colbury can borrow the presses at no charge. Anyone else is asked to make a small donation to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.

If you’d like to book one of the kits just click here and choose your date and press size

If you want to see what it’s all about before you take the plunge then please visit our annual Apple Day at the Church Rooms in Deerleap Lane on 7 October (11-3) where we will be offering to help visitors juice their fruit and providing food, drink and entertainment to boot!

If you’ve got any queries give me (Richard Barnett) a ring on 023 8029 2531 or 07791990351.
